But, it is possible that they inherited the red hair from Penny Halliwell, Paige's Grandmother, who had natural red fiery hair. Her children are half-whitelighter, half-witch and half-mortal, and are also the first twins in the Warren line of witches.

This could open up lots of possibilites as they could have a strong connection, like Billie and Christy had with the 'Ultimate Power'. They could also inherit powers to conjure the elements, like Paige's past life, the Evil Enchantress. They would possibly be the most powerful whitelighters, next to Wyatt who is the twice blessed. Though, when she got her first charge, in Sam I Am , she used being a social worker as her cover. In the Season 8 episode, The Lost Picture Show , Paige attempted to get her job as a social worker back, but she was distracted with her father returning in need of her help.

Paige eventually decided to stop being a full time witch and started taking on temp work. In this capacity she comes across innocents to help in most of her positions. In one of her temp jobs, Paige is traumatized when her boss, Larry , is killed by demons. Her sisters try to assure her that they cannot save every innocent, but Paige is convinced that she failed to save someone she was meant to help. At Richard's suggestion, Paige summons Larry's soul. Larry reveals that he made a Faustian Deal with a demon named Zahn — Larry sold his soul to Zahn in exchange for Zahn giving him financial success.

Larry insists that Paige return his soul to Zahn so that the demon does not harm his wife, but Paige is determined to save Larry. Because of lack of support from her sisters, Paige turns to Richard who encourages her to follow her instincts.

From season 7 on, Paige took on regular Whitelighter duties. She was sent to save a future Whitelighter who proved to be herself and one of the Elders suggested that being a Whitelighter was the separate life she was looking for.

One of Paige's first charges was one who had several Whitelighters and rejected them all. She had trouble with him until she went to Leo for help and he helped her realize that she needed to connect with him as a person and not just a charge.

Paige replaced Prue for the duration of the series, establishing herself as a capable witch and fan-favorite character.

Paige was a great addition to the cast but she struggled with the responsibility of living up to Prue's reputation. The eldest Halliwell sister was the original Charmed One and could be regarded as the superior Charmed sister.

Which witch is best? Paige's youth and early separation from the Halliwell sisters made her more naive, but her struggles were more relatable than Prue's. Prue appeared naturally gifted with powerful leadership qualities, where Paige developed her abilities throughout the series. Paige's youthful naivete set her apart from the eldest Halliwell sister. Her character was more flawed, but this only gave her a Buffy Summers -like relatability.

Paige's magical abilities were a visual delight due to her Whitelighter heritage. However, Prue was more powerful than her younger half-sister as the head of the Halliwell family. Prue was a skilled telekinetic who, unlike Paige, could also astral project. She was arguably the most powerful Charmed One before Piper and Phoebe gained more abilities. Paige's introduction provided a great opportunity for the show to extend its lore.

She orbs them back to the manor and then goes to get Piper and Phoebe to tell them of Patience's claims. Upon seeing the woman, Piper and Phoebe immediately recognize Prue's soul and reunite with their sister.

Paige, however, is in shock from it all and orbs to Henry's office. Though Henry is frozen along with the rest of the West Coast due to the sisters' powers being out-of-wack, Paige vents to him about the overwhelming feelings of Prue being back. Paige then goes back to the manor and readily brews vanquishing potions for Prue and Piper to vanquish demons with. While doing so, she then talks with Magic School faculty member Bailey , about how she doesn't know if she can still be considered a Charmed One now that her sister is back from the dead.

Paige then suggests that she strips her powers and give Prue back her place in the Power of Three to correct the balance. Prue, however, takes the potion herself, stating that it was time for her to move on, telling Paige that being a Charmed One is her destiny. Sometime after this, the world's magic suddenly shifted from magical beings to mortals, which caused enormous chaos. Worse, Paige and her sisters lost all of their powers, rendering them defenseless, though Prue had gained all of her sisters' powers.

After her powers were returned, Paige joined forces with her family, Darryl and many of their friends to fight against Rennek and take back the Nexus of the All. By entering the Nexus, her powers were momentarily expanded. Though she and her sisters were unsuccessful at taking down Rennek, Prue managed to steal his magical possessions the Empyreal Sword and the Grimoire and use their powers, as well as the power of the Nexus to vanquish Rennek and then restore the world to its order.

Throughout the year, Paige and her sisters remain in contact with Prue, but when her very presence began to hurt them physically, they are forced to distance themselves from her.

They eventually find out from a resurrected Kyra that Prue's body has been searching for something it had lost when she died: the Power of Three. With Piper, Phoebe, and Paige unwittingly resisting the pull, the All's magic is tearing them apart. Paige is assigned to a train a new witch named Aidel in , around the same time they find themselves threatened by a group of ancient demons known as the Old Ones.

Worse, the Halliwells suffer another loss when Cole sacrifices himself to save Coop from being stabbed by the Ancient Athame : a blade infused with the power to destroy the essence of its victims. This results in his own destruction. Paige is furious at Henry for putting himself in danger.

Henry retaliates by saying how she puts herself and their children at risk every day. The argument goes on for months and takes a toll on their marriage, despite their attempts to mend it.

Things between Paige and Henry are seemingly improving when Prue fuses with an Old One named Heremus and turns on her family, which once again takes a toll on Paige's marriage. Out of option and power, Paige, Phoebe, and Piper join forces with Darryl , Andy , and Amelia to try to stop Prue from resurrecting the Old Ones, which would bring about the apocalypse.

Despite their best efforts, Prue's evil influence proves too strong. Paige gets stabbed by the Ancient Athame, which drives out her magic. However, she fights to stay alive and orbs Prue and Piper back to the Manor where the Power of Three is once again shifted back to Prue.

Prue sacrifices herself to save the world. By getting stabbed with the Ancient Athame, the All is released along with Prue's spirit and Heremus's influence. Paige miraculously survives and becomes Charmed again, but suffers total amnesia. Throughout the next several months, Phoebe and Amelia help her regain her memory with their joint powers. Her marriage is also back on the mend. Paige continued to live her life as full-time Whitelighter , devoted to protecting her charges and nurturing the next generation of witches.

She continued to live a happy life with her husband, Henry, and their three children. The magical lives of Paige and her sisters as The Charmed Ones are written in the history books of Magic School [9] as well as their own Book of Shadows. Paige is very similar to her deceased oldest sister, Prue Halliwell , in terms of personality.

She is stubborn, strong-willed, and has issues with her biological father. One of Paige's main personality traits and something that she struggled with after becoming Charmed was her independence. For over 20 years, Paige went through life as an only child and attempted to retain her independence after finding her sisters, though she still loved them and considered them a blessing to her even if she sometimes had little disagreements with Piper because of how different they are much like Prue and Phoebe had.

During her teens, Paige was a rebel like her older sister Phoebe. She used to smoke and at one time was an alcoholic. However, she matured heavily when both her adoptive parents died in a car accident. With Whitelighter's blood inside of her, Paige has an inherent need and ability to help others, which led her to want to become a social worker.

Although, she initially struggled with being a Whitelighter until she helped a woman which helped her in return. Despite being half pacifistic, Paige can be judgmental as mentioned by Phoebe. Paige is not one for tradition or mainstream things.

She prides herself on what she calls her "weirdness" and usually desires for her love interests to be "weird" as well. Paige also takes pride in being a witch and wants to be with men who fully accept her heritage. Paige's appearance changes quite a lot, although not anywhere near as often as her older sister Phoebe. When Paige was trying to protect a future Whitelighter, she met Henry Mitchell , the parole officer of her charge. Initially, they had a rough start but learned to overcome their problems over time.

Henry later located a baby named Ramon and handed him into Paige's care while trying to locate the father. In the part of the truth, he was using the opportunity to meet Paige again. Eventually, they begin to fall in love, and Paige used her Whitelighter healing powers, for the first time by herself, to save Henry from a gunshot wound, triggered by her love for him. Paige finally worked up the courage and told Henry that she is a witch. A male witch named Simon Marks arrived and declared that he and Paige were destined to be married, but Paige refuses and tells him that she is in love with Henry.

Simon and Henry fight for Paige with Henry coming out the victor. Soon after, Henry proposes to Paige and she accepts. They plan their wedding with the obvious troubles between an engaged couple with cold feet. However, the day of their engagement party eventually turns into their actual wedding day. Their marriage brought them unexpected twin daughters; Tamora and Kat Mitchell. They later adopt a baby boy and call him Henry Jr.

The main struggle their marriage seems to have is the fact that Henry is mortal and magic is constantly putting their family in danger. Paige and Kyle while in the book " Crossed, Double-Crossed ".
