However 4 or 5 bars does not mean you are going to get high speeds. One the bars are just an indicator of strength, not speed. Two if there is a lot of traffic ie a couple of other iPhones on the same tower the good bandwidth may be used up. Also location is very critical sometimes. At my desk at work bars I get Edge on the left side of my desk and 3G on the right 2 feet away.
